Tinmania

TinMania is a new online venture, selling tin and other mechanical/clockwork toys and books to vintage toy collectors. The owner of TinMania wanted a cost effective webshop solution, which would allow him to control the content of the shop and provide him with a great sales tool to enable customers to purchase these unique toys.

jonwallacedesign - digital design studio decided to use the massively popular Shopify solution to form the basis of the new TinMania webshop. The first steps of the project were to design the key pages from the site, creating a unique, vintage look and feel, which could be rolled out across all pages. We adapted a pre-purchased Shopify template to form the basis of the new TinMania Shopify theme, tweaking and implementing the custom design and layout. Once the new responsive theme had been completed it was time to input all the site content using the Shopify application. The resulting webshop provides a fantastic user experience. As well as browsing for toys to purchase users can also access the TinMania TV video blog area to watch videos of the toys in action and learn more about the background of the items. Due to the responsive nature of the theme we created the TinMania site works well on all devices; desktop, tablet and mobile of all shapes and sizes!
