Contemporary and sleek website design and build for innovative brands sales company Jump7
Following on from the Jump7 branding job jonwallacedesign completed - the next stage of the Jump7 project was to discuss the goals and requirements for the new Jump7 website. After initial discussions, we began a comprehensive wireframing process where we designed and laid out all the fundamental elements of the key page templates to be created to make up the new responsive website. The wireframes were created at large desktop, tablet and also mobile sizes - helping to illustrate in a quick and agile visual format, how the pages would look to the end user. We could then move around, prioritise content and tweak until we were happy with the global information architecture across all devices.
With the information architecture approved, we then set about taking the newly created logo and brand elements and cladding the wireframes with the tangibility of the new Jump7 brand - bringing the architecture to life with engaging photography, colour and on-brand typography.
Once the designs were approved, we moved to the website development stage of the project where we built out the pages in HTML5 markup, with responsive CSS and jQuery to create a compelling and easy-to-use/navigate set of page templates. The page templates were then migrated into our CMS of choice (MODx) on the web server where we could also bespoke each template to feature a range of unique content input elements to make up the various parts of each page template.
The last stage of the project was to input the website content into the bespoke CMS solution, with this complete - we launched the website and have since been working with Nick to ensure the content is up to date with new clients being added each time Jump7 grows and attracts new clients!
The completed website provides a great balance of background information about Jump7, who Jump7 sell to and sell for, a latest news section as well as a comprehensive contact page enabling interested users to get in touch easily and quickly.
At Jump7 we have used jonwallacedesign since the inception of our company. They were fantastic developing our brand/logo and web design, being patient, offering excellent advice and working quickly through that whole process. I have had multiple complimentary comments on our website since then.
We have since continued to use jonwallacedesign for all our web, branding, social media and print needs and have always been very happy with their work. What has particular impressed me was the speed of their work and understanding of what was required without lots of back and forth (and extra costs) that I know can happen with other agencies. Furthermore Jon is just a really good guy, someone you’d be very happy to work with on a project and is brilliant at describing technical aspects of projects in non technical speak for those of us who are not so outstanding at that side of things!
