Brief:

Independent Boutique is a new web-start up initiative created by the founders of Marmalade Cashmere, to provide independent fashion designers with an innovative online boutique in which to sell their designs. The brief was to create a stylish yet simple e-commerce website which allowed the creativity of each piece to shine through and influence the visual appearance of the page.

Solution:

To enable the clients to take the proposition to market, jonwallacedesign - digital design studio researched and developed a simple userflow, outlining a typical use-case scenario; a customer arriving on the site and looking to purchase an outfit first clicks through to the dresses page, then highlights the design they wish to purchase and proceeds through the order process. This use-case was then 'designed-out' to help visualise the business concept and present it to the independent designers whose work would become the focal point of the site.
