Brief:
CartoType is a portable software component that you can use in your location-based service or application. It runs on Microsoft Windows (desktop and Windows Mobile), iPhone, Android and Symbian. CartoType already had a website but needed the content and front-end presentation refreshed to create a more professional and usable interface.
Solution:
jonwallacedesign - digital design studio worked with the CartoType to plan and build out a bespoke CMS solution tailored to the exact needs of the team. The new site features a clean, contemporary and considered typographic/graphical expansive layout (allowing for growth of content and also scaling to suit all browsers larger than 1024x768); the site has been developed using the open source CMS solution MODx, with a tailored workflow to allow the team at CartoType to stay in control of their content with minimal effort.
