Love watching the telly? Love talking about what's on? Got an iPhone? Get Tellybug - you will love it!

TellyBug – a new form of social media for the traditional television platform allows users to chat via FaceBook/Twitter about TV shows. This very clever little iOS app scrapes all relevant content from your friends and presents it back to you in a timeline of comments/remarks. In addition to the comments and chat features of the app, users can also rate TV shows and promote the things they like / dislike on the box to their friends. jonwallacedesign – digital design studio were approached to design both the actual iOS app user interface and the promotional website geared to helping interested users learn more about the service and ultimately click to visit the appStore and download the app!
The website jonwallacedesign – digital design studio created was simple and concise. The homepage follows the traditional trending for iOS apps, featuring a large jQuery carousel of app screenshots housed within an iPhone fascia. Alongside this we used elements from the actual app designwork to create a consistently branded interface. The site features a small amount of overview information with a main call-to-action for users to click to download the app from the appStore. jonwallacedesign – digital design studio designed the various page templates which make up the site, then took the designs and created the front-end template code structures in XHTML, CSS and jQuery – these were then passed to the development team to hook into the CMS engine and deploy live.
“ Jon's done some great design work for us across mobile applications, mobile web, Flash and full web. He's extremely quick, very proactive in pushing the design forwards, responsive to feedback and has a sharp visual style that we can trust to come up with beautiful designs. ”
