Brief

MoneySouq.com is a new price comparison website for the Middle Eastern market. The team at MoneySouq.com approached jonwallacedesign – digital design studio with a brief to help create and position MoneySouq.com as the biggest price comparison site in the Middle East – A very tasty challenge indeed! We were soon discussing possible solutions and ideas that would to fit the brief. MoneySouq.com employed jonwallacedesign – digital design studio to plan, wireframe, brand, design and build the new website and associated marketing materials (e.g. company branding and email marketing templates).

Solution

The first steps of the project were to work with the team at MoneySouq.com to nail down the specific requirements for the new site; capturing how the new site needed to work both in terms of how the end user would access the data as well as how the team at MoneySouq.com would keep the site up to date. A comprehensive set of detailed wireframes were created once the scope had been defined and agreed.  We then took the newly crafted logo and began adding the tangibility of design to the wireframes – creating a set of designed pages covering every section of the new website in pixel perfect detail. Once the design stage was completed the development phase began, weaving the intricate page designs into the bespoke hand-crafted CMS back-end solution. The resultant website allows the team at MoneySouq.com a very simple and intuitive workflow to manage and add new content to the site, easily enabling them to add/update comparison products and new comparison categories as the site continues to grow.
