Live Talkback Web app

       

Brief

The creators of real-time voting application Live Talkback needed a new web app to allow users to participate in existing polls and vote online. The web app needed to list all available polls, enable users to cast their votes easily from the wide array of bespoke designed polls and also utilise social media tools to allow them to promote their votes and thoughts.

Solution

The web app was designed to suit the target demographic, covering just about all website browsers, back-dated to include the likes of IE6. The web app allows each of the bespoke client branded polls to sit purposefully within the overall web app. The chrome of the app is subtly Live TalkBack branded, creating a modern and clutter-free background for the core element of the app – the polls. Once the designwork had been agreed, jonwallacedesign – digital design studio then built out the front-end XHTML/CSS/jQuery page templates. Live Talkback then took these coded pages and wove them into the CMS and back-end systems to complete the project.
