Funky, fun and a pleasure to use; the new iPhone optimised version of Neon Play

As part of the Neon Play website project, jonwallacedesign - digital design studio worked with Neon Play to create an iPhone targeted version of the new Neon Play website. This iPhone version of the site had to be optimised specifically for iPhone UI and render well on any other smartphones with a screen of 320px width or more; all core site content needed to 'mirror' that of the desktop version.
jonwallacedesign designed and developed a set of specific CSS and XHTML template files to allow the core content of the new Neon Play site to be rendered for the iPhone and other targeted devices. The look and feel reflected that of the desktop version, with a vibrant and engaging UI. The front-end presentation files enable the core content of the CMS to be rendered to any specific target device, in this case the iPhone, providing a tailored user experience and enabling the user to easily find and enjoy content from the Neon Play website. The site uses jQuery and CSS3 to present content in a modern and compliant manner, ensuring best use of the limited screen real-estate.
“ Jon was given a brief to come up with a stylish, cool and vibrant brand. And he totally nailed it with the look and feel of the logo and the Neon Play brand. Then he designed and built a website that is beautiful to look at, functional and easy to navigate, which takes our brand and makes it look much bigger than it is (at the moment). We've had some very positive feedback on the site and that is thanks to Jon. He's been a pleasure to work with, he's totally relaxed and easy, takes feedback well and implements your thoughts perfectly. It's rare to find a hybrid designer/developer, but Jon is that man. ”
